Okay Ladies,
I have some awesome ladies who will be joining us!! Their names are Shannon and Rebecca. I've been working with them both since around April of this year. They are so cute and fun, and I can't wait for all of you to get to know them like I do!!!
On another note, I have been slacking majorly. I've passed off the first two activities under Faith, which made me feel really good, but then I got busy and haven't done anything since. I even missed out on the wonderful party on the 20th! BUT, I promise I will get back on task and start working hard, and actually posting things.
I just wanted to tell all of you about the wonderful experience I had this week! Someone very close to me has been struggling with the church and a whole lot of other things. She was trying to decide between two different guys, neither of which were members of the church; and she was really struggling with depression because she lived very far away from her family. She's been telling me for the last few months that she just doesn't know what to do, and finally asked me to put her name on the prayer roll at the temple. I was very worried, so I did just that. I went to the temple 3 or 4 times and put her name in every time. I also made sure to remember her in all of my prayers. I was worried sick about her, and just felt awful that nothing I did was helping. Little did I know, the Lord was working his magic.
A few days ago, I got a call from my friend. She told me that she had suddenly realized what needed to be done. Among that, she was also going back to church regularly, and was even able to partake of the sacrament. I was so excited for her. She then told me that she had finally decided on a guy. He has moved past his stubbornness and has decided to take the missionary discussions and be baptized. He wants to take her to the temple to be sealed, and has decided that he will move with her to be close to her family. I was amazed by the power of our Lord.
To think, all we have to do is ask for his help, and he will bury us in blessings. I just want all of you to know how much you all mean to me, and how much you've helped me grow closer to the Lord. I love all of you and I'm so grateful to have met (or will meet) each and every one of you!! :)
Love,
Cerani
What an incredible experience. Your faith has blessed many lives!
ReplyDeleteYa- I had chills the whole time while reading that experience! So cool!!!
ReplyDeleteCerani, what a beautiful message. I think sometimes I put names on the prayer roll of those I know stand in need, but I guess I can forget the power that really has in their lives. Thank you for the reminder and for your beautiful testimony. Send our "P-Squared Love" to your friend :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and Welcome Shannon and Rebecca!! We are very excited to have you join us!
