Rekindling Old Friendships

It's been a while but I finally decided to write about my experience at Janna's baby shower. :) I had a blast with all of you ladies. You are all so wonderful and I can't wait to get to know all of you better! Lara and I were talking about it on our way home and decided that we have all been friends for a very long time... It's just taken us a while to remember. As soon as I saw each of you I felt like I knew you from somewhere. After a little while, I realized I had in fact known all of you, just not here. I definitely loved hanging out with all of you and can't wait for our next get together!

On another note, Lara and I also had an interesting experience on that same trip home. We were leaving the gas station when we saw a lady wreck her bike. She flipped over her bike and slammed her head against the ground, busting her helmet. Naturally, her husband was freaking out. We decided to stop and see if they needed any help, and were able to help them by driving her home. It took us a while to get to her house, and we were able to talk to her and get to know her a little bit. She was so cute! My favorite moment was when she told us "Well, I guess this wouldn't have happened if I had been where I was supposed to be. I should've gone to the Relief Society conference." I knew immediately that even though she didn't feel that she was where she needed to be, Lara and I definitely were. Because Lara's hubby didn't leave us much gas, we were forced to stop on our way home. This lead to the wonderful experience of helping this lady when she needed it most. I feel very blessed to have had this experience because it just proves that God is real, and he cares for and loves us very much. Even when we aren't exactly where we should be, he is there for us, guiding others into our lives so that they can help us get back up when we fall. Just like this lady, I have all of you who have helped pull me back up when I was down. I'm so grateful for each of you and I love you girls already! I'm so excited to be a part of your group! Thank you! :)
